EVENTS COMING UP IN JUNE








JUNE 8-9
Sea Turtle Festival

This is the first Sea Turtle festival, organized by Aquarium Mazatlan and Red de Tortugas de Sinaloa. All the activities will be related with the protection and conservation of the Sea Turtle like: photography, art, movies, dancers and workshop. It is a free event but donations are appreciated. June 8 and 9 at the Aquarium from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm / June the 8th also in Plaza Machado from 6 to 10 pm.


JUNE 11
Día de la Música

Centro Histórico is the frame of this extraordinary artistic expression. Several stages in different streets of Centro Histórico will offer non stop shows from 7:00 pm to 12:30 of a great variety of styles performed by local and foreign musicians. Free.


JUNE 16
Miura Flamenco “Pasa la Vida”

In Angela Peralta Theater two shows 5 and 8 pm $160 pesos. Lucero Martinez Miura’s director presents a show full of passion, musicians and dancers take us inside the Flamenco world.

June 25
Eliza Perez Meza

Museum and Casa de los Perez Meza is hosting the monthly concert performed by Eliza Perez Meza who has been very active keeping alive the music that her late father (famous “Luis Pérez Meza”) sang and made famous. Ticket: $150 pesos.


This month and the next many graduations from the Mazatlan’s Municipal school of music and dance are taking place in the Angela Peralta Theater. These shows have a great artistic quality and they are open to the public, tickets are available in the Theater box-office.

June 24 & 25
Fantasía

The graduates from the Mazatlan Municipal School of classic ballet are performing this lovely classic from Disney in the Angela Peralta Theater at 8:00 pm.


July

The 2nd / Professional School of Dance
The 6th / Concert by Graduates of Professional in Music Program
The 12th / Concert by Graduates in Singing
The 14th / Concert by Graduates in various instruments
